Bryan Mills (Liam Neeson) is a divorced policeman, retired from the CIA, who wants to spend more time with her 17 year old daughter Kim (Maggie Grace), who now lives with his ex-wife Lenore (Famke Janssen) and new husband This rich Stuart (Xander Berkeley).
